Part of Second Skins, The Havisham Series is a reflection on aging, isolation, and the intersection of masculine and feminine materials. Inspired by the recluse bride of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, found furniture is covered in hot melt, feathered by pressurized air, and built up into a lacy textile.
